season 1 was pretty good, and then randomly turned into ..something else..

I'm not even into sports, but this sitcom's made me laugh and cry. Great stuff

Love Awkwafina, the grandma's extra squeaky voice wears after awhile. I get it's for comedic effect, but I think it's so original of a concept (asian girl in ny and her family) that she doesn't need to rely on cheap exaggerated effect for a comedic relief. She can just use her originality and childhood to bring about an authentic comedic storyline and tone.

Save yourselves time. It's the same old plot, pretty cringy acting.

It's amazing the dedication of the athletes. It was sad seeing how toxic Gabi's family is, they're not so much supporting but just leeching off of her success. Her father yells at her and tells her to shut up, her mom constantly speaks for her, her sister demands more from her. They don't seem like nice people at all. They all forget she's just a teenager, and that's so much pressure on this one person.

I never knew reality competitions can be this wholesome. All of of the contestants are lovely people who just love to bake. I don't bake myself but I really love watching their creations. Wholesome show :)

It's the most frustrating movie. No one believes her, and then when they see evidence, the character James still doesn't believe her. I know it's the invisible man, but it has to do with domestic violence, and it does depict that sense of isolation and aloneness, but god, it's too frustrating to watch.

A hidden gem, finally something us immigrants can relate to lol

At first glance, seems like another over the top adult cartoon with overtly sexual tones and trippy colours. But after a couple of episode, you realize it's so much more than that. The randomness is addicting but the show's undertone speaks about empowerment? Wish there was a second season. Boo Netflix!!
