-This is a Movie about an Ob/Gyn who doesn't understand Women; by a Writer/ Director who doesn't understand Women; -But, does seem to blame them, like The Mythological Pandora, for all the Chaos and Suffering in The World. -N.B.: Mental Health Issues, such as Age Regression exhibited by some of the characters, are a Real, if rare, Condition; -And, like all Health Issues deserves proper attention, not to be treated as a joke and laughed off, as it is here. -If this is a Comedy, it's too Sad; and, if it's a Drama, the serious subjects are treated too flippantly, as mere jokes. -That being said, there are some fine performances, they just deserved a better movie.

Fake It Till You Make It: The Movie. It's hard to know what's real; but, isn't it !?

'The Beach Bum' is a metaphor for life: At the start, I was waiting for it to begin; and, then I was waiting for it to end. Like life, people seem to take away from it what they put in. Some find it hilarious; but, to me, it was one of the saddest movies ever made. Our hero, Moon Dog, claims all he wants is to enjoy life; but, he sacrificies his talent, success, friends, family, and even freedom on the pyre of drugs. It's just sad, as he sails into the sunset, everything up in smoke, from his 'Viking funeral pyre'.

Painfully funny. As they say, "It's funnier when it's happening to someone else."

-While the actors excel, the script fails to solve the fundamental paradox of all time travel stories [which aren't actually multi-dimensional]; -So, the actors end up arguing against themselves: simultaneously saying that nothing will change, because they'll have their family, except that everything will change. -It's a shame, with such a talented cast that the characters rately really come alive, because they don't commit to their timeline. -So, most of the movie is like watching a kinetoscope filled with ghosts [which is ironic, given the lead actor]. [Warning: Triggering: Violence, Suicide, Crime]

Despite some well-crafted moments, the convoluted plot is often alienating insead of engaging. It's too bad. It's a good cast; and, tighter direction should have pulled it all together.

-This movie is like a train wreck crashing through the Egyptian exhibits of The British Museum. It's such a shame. -It's like Ray Harryhausen's "Clash of The Titans" (1981), except it's not as good: -The miscasting is a constant distraction from the over-the-top spectacle, which could have been fun. --It was never going to be good; but, it didn't have to be this bad.

Smart and funny, this is a LOT of fun.

This is grotesque; and, not in a good way. This is what happens when a studio acquires the rights, a script. and a great cast; and, gives them nothing to do, while wading through endless rewrites and reshoots.

Architecture is art you live in. And, that's what this is about: the art of living. Superlative performances from everyone, especially Cate and Emma, who plays her daugher. And, stunning location scenery. It deserves to be seen and the largest screen available.
