Having read the books VERY recently I have to say I watched in shock as to how different the characters and overall story lines are from the books. There are some very key accuracies that draw you in but there are so many very significant differences in characters and story lines. So much so that I feel like I am in a real universe and a parallel universe at the same time. Many reviews have stated the differences and those differences result in the actual characters being so different from the original stories - just not the same people you grow to know and love in the entire book series. If you have read the books then I would recommend watching this series with the open mind that it really isn’t the same as the books and you have to take it as a new experience and determine your enjoyment of it separate from the books because in all honesty the only things that are really the same are the characters names .... and even that is not 100% .... Brady anyone? Who is this Brady character and what have they done with the actual Brady .... as in Shady Brady? 😊
