A film so breathtakingly bad that it’s almost impossible to look away from. After spending the first movie building a world where immortal warriors are born randomly across space and time, this movie flips the chess board and tells us they’re ACTUALLY all aliens! Wait, what?.. Sean Connery‘s character Ramirez is executed in dramatic circumstances in the original Highlander. But he was fun, right? Let’s bring him back! This is a plot that has so many holes in it that it’s technically considered a foam. Definitely watch the original. It’s a dark, glossy, 90 minute MTV clip selling a fairly unique fantasy sword fighting tale. Watch this one to either shake your head and laugh, or to cry ‘oh the humanity!’
