This book is an important book for all who are interested in the book of Revelations. It makes an excellent case that the popular belief today that the Apocalypse lies ahead of us is mistaken. As the book points out, this is a relatively recent belief in Christianity, and one that can lead us astray in taking our eyes off of our responsibility to foster the growth of the kingdom of heaven on earth in the here and now.
