Jimmy, I am a Canadian that married an American. I cannot vote however I love American/Canadian history and love the process of American Democracy. Having said that, I would ask, please stop apologizing for the content of your show. Afterall, when looking up "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon", it is categorized as a comedy. You have dressed up as James Taylor and teetered on a teeter totter. You have dressed up as Bob Dylan and sang, while not showing your eyes. You have dressed up as a female as the EWWW girl (looking pretty good I might add). You have dressed up as President Trump, blonde combed over hair and all over tan. You do not apologize for adding the comedy in those situations. However, you found yourself apologizing and having psychologists on your show because you dressed up as Chris Rock. I really do not understand and never will. You are doing a comedy show! I wish politics could stay out of your comedy. In all facets of politics. There are lines that really need to be drawn for raunchy comedy. I do have the power with using a DVR to view your show and have the option to fast forward or delete. That is why I decided to send this message. I found myself deleting shows this week and I do fast forward over your political monologues because of the content. That is my prerogative because I live in the USA as a Canadian citizen that allows individuals to be free of choices.
Today, we live in a world where people cannot hug or see their families. People are destroying the livelihood of other people, black, white, hispanic or chinese with fires. Terrible injustices in many countries throughout the world. Mother Nature has started to cleanse herself, since the pandemic. We are seeing whales, sharks and jelly fish swimming where once was so dirty. Animals that have been close to extinction, reviving their species. Families having to create time and memories in smaller spaces. Please, we need people to respect the art of Comedy as well as our fellow man no matter their colour, race or political choice. Please bring the humor back. If you have that choice! Power has always and should be to Choice!
Thank you
