Absolutely terrible. First of all, Joaquin Phoenix didn't even get into character at all. He looked and sounded like an American wearing a Napoleon costume. He didn't even try to play the roll. Rest of the actors played with an English accent and I think there was only one person with an actual French accent. (And yes as stupid as that sounds, that matters) I just couldn't get into the movie because the acting was that bad. Historically they missed it as well. Just wait for them to put it on Netflix to rent so you don't waste your money in the movie theater.

I'll fist start with I love anything about the royal family but this was just horrible. I wanted to turn it off in the first fifteen minutes but I couldn't waste my $4.99 I paid for it on Amazon. Honestly, I think I wasted more of my time more than my money. That being said, Kristen did a ok job depicting princess Diana with her body language but that's all about it. And at the end they did a whole five minutes of poses which was weird. The movie is just odd and in the beginning it's hard to tell what's going on. Just pass on this movie, make it a hard pass in fact.
