There aren't many times when I watch a movie and then have it on my mind for several days afterwards. This is definitely a film you have to watch twice. It really is mind blowing.
As you've probably know by now, this movie deals with time and traveling to the past and the future (a bit of an oversimplification). I won't lie, the first time watching it, I was a little lost at some parts. Once you get to the complex parts of this movie, there's really no turning back. However, once you begin to understand the story and the timeline of the movie, it's a very rewarding feeling.
While the story was indeed complex, the spectacle of the film was truly breathtaking. As with the majority of Christopher Nolan's movies, the IMAX cameras really capture the grand scale of the movie. The score of the movie is spectacular. Each song really immerses you into the film.
The actors all did fantastic job. John David Washington and Robert Pattinson really made a fantastic combo. And Elizabeth Debicki was very compelling in her role.
The dialogue in the movie was a little hard to hear at some points, especially with the score playing in the background. And if you watched in a Cinemark XD or IMAX theater, some lines of dialogue will be missed. I'd recommend watching it in a regular theater for your second viewing. The less bass heavy speakers allowed for me to hear all of the dialogue.
Overall, this film is an experience like no other. Once you begin to understand the story, you realize just how great of a film it is.
