I thought this was a great series and am actually stunned by the low ratings showing. So are the reviews judgements of the program - production, director, actors - or were they the result of judgemental people who didn't approve of the choices, lifestyle, etc. the characters made/lived? Since the series was exemplary in all aspects i tend to think it was the latter of the reasons for the low ratings. I think 50 Shades did better and that trio of films was complete s**t. I'd recommend this series for anyone not afraid to ask themselves questions about their own choices. Others, don't bother. You won't get it.

I adore this movie! There is not one second of it that will bore you or make you roll your eyes an think "really?". Fresh, engaging characters in a love story that covers all the bases. There is no clichéd dialog so prevalent in most love stories. The sets are exactly as I would picture them to be given the location and circumstance of the characters (i.e. there is not a Renoir to be found at the Clark household nor nary a magnet on Will's refrigerator). Emilia Clarke, crazy eyebrows and all, delights as Louisa. She's kind, sincere, loyal, funny. And absolutely beautiful. Sam Clafin made me fall in love with Will Traynor. He played his part so well I found myself forgetting his limitations and seeing him as a man, just like any other man and yet nothing like other men. Stephen Peacocke rocked as Nathan. The ending was a tear inducer, and I'm not going to tell you if they were happy or sad tears, or maybe a bit of both. Watch this film and find out for yourself.

This film is for anyone who's ever had a dream bigger than themselves, had hope for a better future and the true grit it takes to realize those dreams and hopes. I've been Joy, on a much smaller and different scale. I know all about hard work, living with failure and finally, finally achieving my goals. Of knowing what it feels like to be proud of myself for never giving up. That is Joy. The woman, and Joy the success story and Joy the movie. Great cast with the best starring ensemble known. Jennifer Lawrence is incredible, Robert DeNiro is wonderful even though I hated him as a father, Bradley Cooper is perfection. Script was a little slow out of the gate but otherwise an incredibly inspirational film.

I love this movie. I've seen it several times and bought a copy just the other day, it's worth having in my library permanently. Love, loss, duty, autism, the effects of 9/1 it's beautifully written, produced, directed, cast, just all around sweet and heart warming, tragic and frightening, gentle and volatile. Nicholas Sparks proves again his talent as a profound story writer. Forget renting this film, go ahead and buy it because you're going to go back to it time and again.

Well, hell, if that hasn't been life in lock down, I don't know what is/was. A love story that takes us down a path that is incredibly relatable. The direction is superb, the casting incredible, Loved the set. But the actors both gave outstanding performances outstanding performances. I will be very disappointed if we don't see an Academy Award nomination and a win for James McAvoy. He is beyond superb and a joy to watch, as always. Sharon Horgan is new on my radar, but I'll be checking her out further it's a true gem!. Her roll was a wee bit more difficult in that she had to deal with the death of a loved one in the film, but she pulled it off wonderfully. I highly recommend this film to everyone.

I wasn't going to watch this film, not really my thing, I thought. But then I found myself selecting it just because it's good to step out of my comfort zone now and again. I'm glad I did. I was riveted from the opening scene to the last one. Ben Safdie was stellar in his performance as Nick. He is an amazing actor, it's hard to believe he doesn't face Nick's issues in real life, that he was acting. As always, Robert Pattinson's portrayal of Connie was outstanding. A keen manipulator, a criminal, a big brother who, despite leading his little brother down the wrong path, loves loves his sibling deeply. Connie was a snake but I still wanted for him to get away with it. From directing, to editing to the cameras, this movie has it all and I don't think anyone could have done a better job capturing not only my attention but also my heart. I highly recommend Good Time to all, it's a choice i know I'm glad I made.

I love this movie... I love that the script was adlibbed by the actors, which gave us insight as to not only their acting skills but a peek at who they are as real people. They couldn't have played their roles so well without letting us see a bit of who they really are. I liked them all very much. Their characters are relatable, the film moves at the right pace, the questions and situations they find themselves asking and facing are things we all ask ourselves and deal with in real life from time to time. I found myself drawn to each of the three individually. Daphne for the risk she takes in examining her life, Jack for his stability and decency and Frank because he's just plain naughty but lots of fun. The emotions shared between Daphne and Frank aren't necessarily verbalized but so real you can taste them. More films need to be made using this director's methodology, you get something so much deeper and more realistic than your average "I'm the director and this is MY vision and you should like it because said so". I highly recommend this film for everyone, you'll find yourself filled with questions regarding your own decisions, who you are and where you're going. Hope you enjoy the ride.

Fun, funny, sexy, romantic with two slightly screwed up lead characters who played their roles very, very well. We are lead through a plethora of varying emotions by two people who try so hard to have a "normal" relationship and life but their pasts, combined with too much alcohol, gets in the way. They persever and by the end we believe they might just make it. What this movie did to me was remind me of my own relationships and growing pains. I think many of us have a little or a lot of the characters inside of ourselves, which made it easy to relate to each of them individually and as a couple. I really enjoyed this film and would recommend it readily. Oh, and People Magazine, take note that 2022 Sexiest Man Alive should be Sebastian Stan!
