Green Day has clearly given up on sticking to their roots in Punk Rock but as this album shows, that is not a bad thing. The band is hear to make music and to not restrict themselves within one genre.
This album has a bit of every era of Green Day in it. From Kerplunk, to American Idiot, to DOS.
