Watched the trailer on Netflix and added to my list. Was excited to see a new movie and it looked pretty decent. I had zero expectations and I’ll tell you what. If I could give 6 or 7 or 8 stars out of 5 I would. The movie was great in every aspect. The comedy, the satire, the realism, our current political structure, the dividing of a nation through social media. Everything was on the nose. Yes there were a lot of cringe worthy moments but that just added to the story and made it so much more perfect. I don’t understand how there are so many horrible reviews.. every 2 star review is so politically motivated and filled with big words to make them seem intelligent. The acting was phenomenal, the story and writing was amazing and honestly was one of the best movies I’ve seen. There was no agenda to this film in my opinion. To say it’s leftist is to say you’re just an arrogant and honestly ignorant republican. (You both lack the knowledge and you think it’s all about politics lolol) it’s a movie.. shut up!

Honestly, was super excited, but good things all come to an end. Should’ve ended with the third one… movie was confusing and feels mostly forced. Was not a terrible movie but wasn’t a great one either. Movie barely went in depth with what was going on and everything was topical, brushed over. The CGI was great and it was awesome to see trinity and neo back at it again, but I feel the writing was a cash grab. It was nothing like the original 3 and might as well been a spin-off of the matrix trilogy. The only thing to look forward to here is Neil Patrick Harris in his blue reading glasses.(also the Catrix) 2/5 as there wasn’t really a good plot to follow.
