I thought the idea for the movie was interesting however the execution was absolutely atrocious.

Had to come and leave a comment as I saw how much hate it got which makes no sense as it was really well scripted. Watching the original a lot as a child this follow-up was really wonderful bringing it into the new age the way you did was fantastic. I loved every moment of it and I wish there was more.

I enjoyed the film however just because it's about filmmaking doesn't mean it needs to be an art film.

It gave me a sense of wanting more out of the cast and the story. The movie embodied the message of shallow to literally into how each scene played out. I would have liked to see more depth into the nest and its origin and why this was its preferred means of procreation. I would have also liked to have known more about the character's pasts considering this played a huge part in the dialog.

Was a great movie, surprisingly shocked at how much I enjoyed it. If you like phycological horrors and the occult you'll enjoy how this story unfolds.

I didn't completely dislike the movie it was a good idea, I love the door gods mythos but, I felt that the characters didn't really have much progression and a lot was left to assumption. A not so epic boss fight, very disappointing.

Was an awesome movie, hope there is a second one considering there were a few things left unresolved. I would even go as far as saying this deserves a series.
