For the most part I thought the movie was amazing. Especially with Leonardo DiCaprio. He really nailed his role and I think he just did a wonderful job, same with Jennifer Lawrence. But one of the problems that I have with the movie is that given how serious it is they need to add comic relief which totally makes sense. However some of the comic relief is almost too stupid. It’s like Superbad, Step Brothers comedy which didn’t mix too well given how more serious the movie was. Like for intense Jonah Hill carrying the Birkin bag and a couple of his lines etc. Some parts of the movie was also put together weirdly and some of the scenes that cut back and forth cut at times when I feel like we needed to finish hearing what they were going to say or we needed to hear their response before it cut to the next scene. So yes some of the transitions were rough but overall I really did enjoy this movie a lot.
