Patrick Stewart performance outweighs the lack of compelling emotion that would warrent a change . He had to carry this film. He always amazes me and his role as Scrooge was perfectly casted. So due to that is why I gave it 4 stars. If everyone else acted at his level and if the depth and content of the script was better I would give 5 stars.

I thought it was hilarious and the kids enjoyed it. I looked at the reviews and wow you cant please America anymore.. People get offended about like everything. If someone sits wrong its an offense. Lol

I really am not understanding the bad reviews. This is a great series. I am happy they are capturing Numenor and giving details to how origin of timelines and future events in LOTR. I really enjoy the relationship between Elrond and Durin. Durin's and Disa's characters are a joy to watch! The cinematography is excellent. The acting is excellent. Im looking forward to more!

I enjoyed it. But it did annoy me at times that characters can be so blind to the obvious. The sometimes overeact and undereact to certain things made things a bit uneven. As well as plot holes. Like the cave situation. The robot never picked up on danger in the cave the first time they were there?
