I love both the book and the tv show.
I watched the first episode before I read the book and finished the book before the second episode and maybe that's why I can see both as the individual pieces they are.
Do not sit down to watch the tv show expecting a play-by-play of the book. There's a lot from the book that would never have worked on screen so of course they've changed the storyline to fit the medium.
I love the direction that the tv show has taken and at its core it's still the same story - she can't remember who she is or who she can trust, what she's capable of, what the endgame is, and we don't know that either, which makes for better viewing I think.
And to the people who have posted negative reviews.... How about until you've written a kickass book that's been adapted into a tv series where you try to keep all of your fans happy although that's entirely not possible, you just don't.
Happy viewing everyone! If you haven't read the book you should. Both stories are awesome.
