OMG THIS CHILDRENS MOVIE IS NOT HISTORICALLY ACCURATE! SO MAD!
Really though, it's a cute movie. Cute romance. It makes me feel good and reminds me of my childhood as this was my favorite movie when it was released.
If you want accuracy, go check out a few books from the local library OR Netflix has a series that, to me, seems fairly accurate and on par with what I've read.
