I was looking for something light and relaxing so it was perfect for that purpose. I really liked the character of Olivia, she's my favorite 💝. All the characters were beautifully crafted but I didn't really like the character of Matt. The narration was smooth and the language was simple. The ending was unexpected but nothing wow. There were a lot of steamy moments in the book which, I felt, could have been minimized. I loved the simple and elegant book cover. The book contains 330 pages and 12 lengthy chapters but can be finished in one sitting. Overall, this book was a beautiful blend of romance and mystery with family centered themes. If you are a fan of enemies to lovers troupe, slow burn romance and steamy moments then you may try this one.

When I started this book, there was nothing much to expect from the plot because I have already watched Freaky Friday. So the humorous instances where the only thing keeping me entertained. What started as a comically tragic incident, soon exposed the grave issues of our social norms. The book provides a deep insight into the heads of mothers, both homemakers and working moms. Their insecurities, plights and struggles are so often ignored and misunderstood by others. Only a mother knows how she makes the ends meet, just as Wendy says "there is nothing I wouldn't do for my children ". The author emphasizes on the fact that instead of expecting the wife or mother or the female members to take care of the household, the chores should be distributed among the members. Each member should help according to their own capability and try to be self sufficient instead of expecting or ordering. I really liked the ending which was quite expected, but also very much unexpected. Recommended to everyone, especially readers who like women's fiction and humorous stories.

This is the first book of the Temple War series. It consist of 200 pages and 18 chapters. I really liked the eye catching cover of the book and the maps in the beginning. The story is about Taran, a little boy from Mumbai, who is assigned an important responsibility by Ganesha Himself! While Taran embarked on a totally unfamiliar adventure in an unknown world with danger lurking in every corner, he must keep in mind that his family is held captive by the Pretas. Will Taran be able to succeed? Even if he does, at what cost? The storyline is really interesting and the language is very simple. There are a lot of characters, which might seem confusing if not read properly. The ending is quite satisfying but ends in a cliffhanger because of course, it is a series. The book teaches the power of self empowerment and faith, in a really interesting way. Highly recommended for everyone especially between 9 to 14 years. I so wish I had read this book when I was younger, although I did enjoy it even in my twenties.

The first five chapters are beautifully presented but when the story goes as a flashback to the past, from the sixth chapter there is a long chapter where I lost focus. Regarding the characters, I found Anushka was confused on so many occasions. Ayush, had a liking for Anushka, dated Divya and then married Riya, so he was reckless and confused too. The writing style is good and the language is simple with no noticeable grammatical error. The plot could have been more interesting than just the narration of events. Recommended to beginner readers who are looking for a light read after a dystopian fiction.
