The greatest mystery this show has to offer is the question of whether its a thriller/mystery or a satire/comedy, a mystery the writers themselves did not seem to solve before handing it on to production. Apart from the title itself being a riff on long and overly vague mystery titles and a joking point at the overuse of narration that occurs within the first 2 minutes of the show, the next 2 and a half hours consists of dragging one joke over and over and over again. This joke essentially boiling down to shoving as many tropes as possible into one scene without adding to or critiquing them in anyway and then going 'haha look guys its the trope'. This show as a whole just feels like it lacks confidence to commit to anything. It doesn't want to be brave enough to define itself sincerely as a mystery, nor does it want to attempt anything bizarre, or different to develop comedy, what you end up with is a grey tasteless show not interesting enough to pass as a thriller nor funny enough to pass as a comedy/satire.
