Just read the book in one whole three hour sitting. As a openly gay teen in high school (UK) this is very relatable and made me cry at points. It is an amazing read and if you enjoyed reading it then watch the movie it's just as good.

Honestly, read the book and then watched the movie and this is the only movie I've seen that matches the quality of the book. I absoulty loved this movie exspecially being gay it gave me something to relate to.
