This is the worst production of any science fiction show I've ever seen. From episode 1 to the season finale of the 2nd season the underwhelming performance of Sonequa Martin-Green makes this show nearly unwatchable. The only significant character in the entire show is Michal Burnham, and there is little to no character development of any of the bridge crew or other would be main characters. Additionally, the crew of discovery seem to completely ignore star fleet in most cases and the upgraded graphics and cgi do not make up for the poor story telling and overall inconsistency in the plot. Even the pseudo scientific explanations of what they are trying to do technologically in the show is pure gibberish. If the writers would use any real scientific concepts to back up the shows fake science it would make it at least a little less painful. Repeating "matter cant be created or destroyed" doesn't make for a happy nerd fan-base.
