Disgustingly clear that the role doesn't belong in this era, forced upon the viewers, carefully manueveured to develop a sense of disgust and pity at the same time, all the while elaborating on the generous message : hey! Here's inclusion. Very well done indeed! The actor pulling off this character wow!

the interesting part about this movie was the Buffalo tied to a tree. Its stage presence was magnificent, sometimes I thought it would come to life and speak with the audience. The moment it didn't blink twice to deliver milk to that bucket... transcendent. Yes folks, the unnamed Buffalo has stolen the show here. Dam!
