Warren Harvey – Google

I've watched some pretty bad 'B' grade movies in my day, but this one would struggle to get to an 'E'. Guy Pearce was obviously on drugs when he signed up to do this movie. All I can say is that the hiring department must have raided the local transvestite bar for most of their woman actors and the script for the movie written out by children from local child care center. Not the worst movie I've seen (the worst being one I watched about vampire sheep ripping out the throats of people in NZ at one time), and it did just pip 'The Killer Tomatoes'.

I found the performance by Glen Close exceptional. However this was the only plus in my estimation of the series. Despite much of the intrigue concerning the series as a whole, it had far too many flash backs and red herrings to decipher, which in turn became very disconcerting and annoying when attempting to stay abreast of the show as a whole. So many in fact that as the series progressed, it seemed to lose far more on the swings than it gained on the round-a-bouts. The series ended with a big fizzle instead of a bang - which it could well have done given a bit of thought. I was left wondering if the writers had employed so many lose ends during the series, they lost track of the plot themselves and simply decided the show must end despite where they found themselves. What could have been a killer of a series overall was let down by too many red herrings and a poor non-descript ending - not the kind of thing I like to watch - and won't ever again! .
