To ALL TV producers out there... Watch Clarksons Farm and weep. This has to be THE most fundamentally brilliant Series 2 ever produced. It surpasses Series 1. That is an accolade! Superbly produced and directed. The content is truly wonderful, bringing insight in respect of the absolute plight of farmers not least. Highlighting the woke country we live in perfectly. Illustrating the ridiculous level of nimbyism both present and allowed in all our official processes. The characters couldn’t have been cast better, as opposed to just appearing as if by magic. Reminds me of a naturally occurring The Detectorists, ands that’s saying something as that series of absolute serenity was perfection! The U.K. Government can’t have its proverbial cake and eat it. Either we, the U.K. pay subsidies or we allow reasonable creative measures to be taken by our farmers to diversify their businesses into a portfolio of useful, interesting, pleasurable and money making activities that keep farms alive, as otherwise they WILL die and take U.K. food production with them! We desperately need a minister dedicated to Agriculture. No, I’m not being ignorant, I know there is one, BUT...what on earth are they doing..we need an effective one! I have just binged watched, as that’s the only way to do it, Series 2. A wonder to behold! Everybody MUST watch and badger (no pun intended) their MP to overhaul planning consent, remove local council so called planners from the process and get real. We have stumbled across something that I thought died with Faulty Towers and Only Fools. We need more, much more of Clarksons Farm. Highly funny, educating and a window into what is....way way way better programming than so called other professional production companies put out! Once again Jeremy Clarkson and the other ‘actors’, a goldmine...keep on digging and producing nuggets like this for eternity!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Just seen BR this evening 1/12/18. Accurate portrayal of FM, very well acted, and Brian May actor. Realistic band behaviour and time-line/journey. Great clarity of FM's struggle to find meaning and clear understanding of his plight from those he was involved with. E.g. the bands acceptance of him back before the Live Aid gig, his wife's acceptance of the real FM. Somewhat predictable!overall however follows reality and so often that of creatives on the journey of finding themselves. (e.g. Amy Winehouse, to name one of many) Great gradual emphasis on the vital role of close friends and family. A very suitable film to mark the memory of Queen and FM.
