Seriously one of my favorites. I'm amazed at the way the show handles mature themes and toxic home lives, especially the balance between being a happy kid with your friends while dealing with serious problems. The LGBT representation with Yu was stellar. They didn't dance around the subject or simply allude to it, they straight up talked about being nonbinary or a trans man and how hard that is to go through. I also noticed that there were chubby characters that weren't the butt of the joke for once, and some dark skin characters! There's still a long way to go with representation of all types in anime, but I think this one is a huge step in the right direction.
