Metroid spawned a genre, and Dread proves that it still stands tall amongst a field of games and worlds that it has inspired over the years. Metroid Dread feels fresh yet familiar, and respects you to lean on your greatest asset; your own wits.

Immediate, engaging, and relevant, Dark Fate easily stands with the best in the Terminator series. With a pace and tone that echoes T2 and T3, Dark Fate also carries a sense of terror unseen since the original film. While James Cameron's presence is obvious, Tim Miller delivers with a strength his own- leading tremendous performances from not only (the amazing!) Hamilton and Schwarzenegger, but Reyes, Davis, and Luna's frighteningly badass Rev-9. The movie achieves a precarious balance between optimism and cynicism while being disturbingly relevant. Our increasing reliance on technology along with the trajectory of robotics and AI in our lives makes this "cool sci-fi action movie" a cautionary tale, more than ever. Tl;dr- Seriously awesome, you have to see it if you even remotely dig the Terminator movies.
