Supergirl started off not bad and was pretty entertaining. The positives is the great acting of Melissa Benoist who I remembered from Glee. She really carries the show as the starring character of Kara Danvers. Currently in Season 4, I love the friendship between the main cast with Kara, Alex, "Brainy", and John. For a TV show, the budget for the flying looked great and the action is obviously entertaining, but then it went from decent to just god awful! It happened in Season 2. The show surprisingly introduced Superman and he looked pretty good, but not just the show itself but CW turned Superman into a jobber, in wrestling terms by John Campea. Why did the show turn the Godfather of superheroes into someone who gets his (pardon my language) ass kicked by Supergirl? Is it because it's her show and not his?! He might as well bow down to Supergirl and say, "Oh no, Supergirl! I'm not the strongest character in the DC Universe. You are!" This is probably the worst Superman I have ever seen. This show has the dumbest and lazy writing and dialogue I have ever heard. With a show titled "Supergirl" the writers thought it would be a good idea to lean toward the female demographic. There's just way too much melodrama and romantic moments. What did I expect? This is CW. They are crowned for drama and romance. It went to awful when characters made comments about racism, sexism, feminism, SJW material, and LGBT. I don't mind the LGBT characters like Nia because we live in a world where everyone is different. Not everyone is heterosexual. Not only that but this show made political comments involving the president! I watched it all the way to the Elseworlds crossover, but I'm officially done with this show. It can die in a ditch! I mean why is it difficult to just make a superhero show instead of making a show involving social, philosophical, and political comments? The show should get nominated for worse costumes: Red Tornado, Indigo, Brainy?
