I honestly don't have the words to properly describe this drama. It's very deep, and it's well acted. It's also not a typical K-Drama. The Glory offers a view into modern Korea through a dark lens. This is Hell Joseon laid bare. Im Ji Yeon has a really tough role and she nails it. It's not easy to be the bad guy but she puts her soul into the part and the this story needs a credible villain. She is so good at acting mean! Also, the main characters are women which is refreshing; despite the dark subject matter there is a theme of redemption and hope. It's well worth watching.

I was almost positive that I would not like this one, but I decided to try anyway. Wow! What a well-made K-Drama. Everything about it is superb. Even if you are not mad about period romance comedies, this is one you should check out. It's so well-written and well-acted. The main characters are great but as always with a good K-Drama it's the secondary characters that glue the story together.

I simply don't understand the fuss over this K-Drama. Yes, the acting is excellent from many cast members. I love the concept. Ultimately, the story is not credible and the drama relies on IU to deliver a stellar performance. She was great in Hotel Del Luna but I don't think she is a mature enough actor to carry off this performance. The story gets lost towards the end and meanders around looking for a conclusion. It's hard to empathize with characters who can't be honest with one another and ultimately this is where My Mister fails to deliver. You lose interest and empathy for the characters.
