I thought it was great! Exactly what it set out to be. A nice blend of campy horror, comedy, seriousness and story plot. The performances were on point. Nick Cage was perfect. I am more picky about what films I see in the theater because its so expensive these days, but I would have happily seen this in the theater. I would not let the box office sales deter you from watching. It was really good! Just enough light too prevent the heavy from being taken seriously. Enjoyable entertainment!

It moves pretty slow, the connection/chemistry between Joshua Jackson & Lizzy Caplan carries little depth & seems forced. Its strange with such a great cast & storyline they managed to make it a dull series. Seems like no ever met b4 & just jumped into their role without any real direction simply banking on the cast & familiar tale. The director should try directing. Surprisingly Bland.

The story is there, it was good but not as great as it had the potential to be. The Cast are all amazing. Just the slow pace for the length of the film had me yawning. A 2.5hour movie needs to be filled with more excitement and depth verse a bunch of long winded dialogue scenes. Worth watching once but not one I’d race to see again.
