Barbie started as silly satirical fun, but as I watched, I was feeling somewhere in the middle of all the controversy. Without giving too much away, I feel that both men and women equally should be ruling the world, based on their qualifications. It shouldn't be either men or women. I knew the movie had a feminist theme but I felt like it made the men look stupid and inferior to women. That said, it had a lot of funny scenes and I especially liked America Ferrera's speech and how her character and her daughter came together in the end.

Don't listen to Rotten Tomatoes. This movie was good silly fun to watch and just what we need during these stressful times. Two thumbs up.
