I decided to watch LOK after I heard it was on netflix, so here's an unbiased list for you guys: Plot: 7/10 LOK takes place in a 1950's like era, where the way of living has changed and technology is advancing by the day, they don't fight warlords for example, they fight against a lot of robots & spirits- which made me feel like I was watching a bootlegged version of ATLA with adult like plots. But the watercolored background is a plus. Music: 10/10-loved Fight Scenes: 9/10- some animation was out of wack Character development: 2/10 1. Korra- barely matured, she's a hot head, non patient, and a rude person. Her elders were always giving her advice and tried to guide her but she acts like she can eat the world just bc she's the avatar, she can't take advice, even in the comic books when she's an adult, she was disrespectful to her parents, to her mentor Tenzin- was rude to him in his own home. She's 17/18 and acts like she's 14. 2. Mako- didn't change, no character development, he's very mature but no fun- could nver lighten up and didn't man up when it came to relationships,like why?. 3. Bolin- is like the earth bending version of Sokka, he was funny and goofy-matured towards the end. 4. Asami- why is she even there? Girl has brains and she should've stuck with engineering, bland character, no unique figting style, she just drives the group where they need to be. Book 1-4 Rating: Book 1: 8.5/10 -if that plot could've continued it would've been an amazing show. For years Korra had trouble airbending and all of a sudden she was able to airbend and beat the villian? Ehhh Book 2: 3/10- WHY? I feel like book two was a filler, until they were able to get something for book 3 Book 3: 9/10 if book 3 would've been tied to book 1 in a way then I would've been a bomb show( my opinion) but that's the season with the most fighting/action-loved. Book 4: 3/10 again I feel like this season was a filler in a way, Kuvira said Lin's sister took her in when she was an orphan and lived with her but I don't recall seeing Kuvira in book 3 plus it could've ended way better. Overall: Varrick and Zhu Li were the best characters & the lived happily ever after LOL, Is it a good show? Yes, Is it worth the watch? No, especially if you're an ATLA fan. Are the plots good? 1 & 3 are, should kids watch this show? Yes, but LOK has a darker story that a more mature audience will understand.
