I’m new to reading as an adult, and this is the best book I’ve read yet, I think in my whole life. There wasn’t a second that my predictions were right and the person I thought had done it all along ended up not being the murderer. So many twists and seeing the story unravel and come undone really felt so satisfying, like you were there in the room with Pip as she came to new conclusions and broke through walls of evidence. Amazing characters, amazing choice of plot, amazing pacing, just phenomenal. I don’t think I’ll top this book for awhile. Going to be incredibly hard to read another afterwards for a bit haha.
