First off, my favorite Western is Tombstone followed closely by Eastwoods/Leone’s spaghetti westerns and The Outlaw Josey Wales. I enjoyed part 1 despite its length. The pacing was even and the action was intense but not too graphic (it could have been made much worse). The suspense scenes were beautifully orchestrated! The acting was superb. The villains were believable and that Costner/Sykes walk up the hill was so fun. I couldn’t wait for them to get to the top!
