Hugh Laurie wasn't such a suitable choice. His acting skill is not the problem, he simply doesn't have the darkness the role calls for.
Pines infiltration and their undercover operation seemed too easy. Roper seems very naive n soft natured for the things they show him doing.
Overall is not a bad show. Somewhat captivating. Narcos is lot grittier.
