I do agree with his concept that we are saving ourselves not saving the planet. I love this film, it is very touching and helpful. However, I have some questions about the solutions he has provided for protecting the environment. 1:cutting population 2:using renewable resources like solar power 3:eating less meat etc.
Think about those aborigines at the beginning of the documentary or those people in the developing countries.
1:How to persuade them to have fewer children? since more children mean productivity and more chance to avoid hunger.
2: Do their children have the right to enjoy modern life, eat ice cream in the air-conditioned room, and eat meant as normal western kids do?
3:Who will be responsible for providing renewable energy for those poor people?
Easier said than done.
