I absolutely loved reading Warrior Judge: One Man's Journey from Gridiron to Gavel. As a lifelong sports fan and a retired trial attorney, Judge Newman's life story thoroughly appealed to me. What was so evident in all of the Judge's challenges was how decent and honest he was in all of his dealings with those with whom he interacted. His "rule of life" of hard work, integrity and perseverance are present in every goal that he worked so hard to accomplish. These themes are present throughout all of the many colorful episodes that are recounted, both on the gridiron as well as in the locker room. I also give much praise to his daughter, Holly Newman Greenberg, for the crystal clear writing style she employed in sharing the Judge's life story with the reader. Congratulations to both of you for producing this most wonderful book! As they say, it was a terrific read! Bill Heiman
