I loved the idea of this book, and asked for it for Christmas. I could be wrong, I’ve only read 2-3 essays and skimmed others but it reads like one size fits all platitudes for people you don’t know and the stories didn’t make me care about them or the storyteller either. Apologies for the gruff review I’m just disappointed in my choice of holiday read. Maybe others will love it!
