Do not go see this movie if you are averse to graphic violence involving children. I do think they crossed a line. We are shaping our culture based upon what we decide is acceptable to watchwith on film. Story started okay, got graphically violent as I have mentioned. Unfortunate because it would have been an interesting story. I left the theatre.

Oh my gawd.

We are conditioned to wait in a movie, for something to happen next. The character gets in trouble, the rescue comes and all ends well. I liked the ending. I think the actor was outstanding, but the story itself didn’t frame the circumstances as well as I would have liked. The female getting rescued, the traditional role of male assuming responsibility. I would’ve liked to see more work on the story.

This was a fun movie with a positive message. I liked the story. I rate this type of movie by watchability; meaning was it funny enough to keep and watch again( say on a rainy day?) Yes, I could.
