I so wanted to give this movie 10 stars, but “political correctness” in Marvel Universe just ruined it for me!!! Not only does it include every single race on this planet, but we finally have a gay superhero. And not only that, there is a very unnecessary and forced kiss in this almost perfect movie, that really has no place. I’m not homophobic by any means, peace and love to everyone, but this part was so forced and fake and stupid really, it made me crunch!! The realization that race, gender, sexual orientation are being pushed and promoted in Marvel movies, really killed all the fantasy that movies like this are suppose to bring. If I want reality I turn on the tv. When I go to a movie theater, I want to be taken to another place. It’s as simple as that!!! Stan Lee forever!!! 💔

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

At the end of the movie, my son who’s been obsessed with Marvel for the last 10 years, saying “Mom, what is this movie about?” - is unfortunately the best description for this movie. Our beloved Marvel is sinking big time. I understand it’s super hard to transition from characters we all came to love over the years. I can’t imagine The Avengers without the old cast. But bringing new characters out of the blue, without any introductions or explanation is just ridiculous. Who is this kid, America Chavez (omg to the name), where did she come from and why??? Just to kill Wanda / Scarlet Witch, who we all came to love?? Why? Bringing back the so so loved (and so old) Professor X just to kill him so stupidly??? Why? Making Strange so strange that I was conflicted if I even like him anymore - why?? This long awaited movie was just too much! And I’m just sick of Marvel/Disney bringing politics into movies! After a debacle with The Eternals, they’ve managed to do it again. Christine marrying the black guy, America Chavez being a Latina kid from lesbian parents, it’s so too obvious, I’m just waiting for the next Marvel movie to bring the topic of abortion into its plot. Going to the movies, especially super hero ones, used to be an escape from reality, they were believable yet imaginative. Now it’s like watching CNN sci-fi version. In a nutshell, I am so upset, that I forget to mention what an amazing experience it would be to see this movie in 4D, which unfortunately you can’t enjoy in the US.
