honestly, going into this movie being once overweight and lesbian. and hearing the reviews it was “homophobic” and “ableist” and “fatphobic” i was nervous. however within the first 10 if even that, 5 minutes. i was hooked. god this is such a good movie. i don’t understand how anyone can find this movie offensive to be honest. the director/actors were not at all mocking overweight, or disabled or lgbtq people. i get some people were thrown off with a fat suit but those are people who’ve never seen the movie. having an actor in that shape? not only would it be hard but also kind of dangerous. brennen was the best actor i could ever think of for this role. he plays it beautifully. sadie sink as well, i was admittedly most excited to see her and she absolutely did NOT disappoint. everything she did wowed me. her acting is amazing. there is not enough words to describe how much i love sadie in this movie. her character is a menace but i ultimately saw progress twords the end. speaking of the end, absolutely heartbreaking. i didn’t see one person leave that theater with out tears in their eyes or rolling down their face give it a watch you will not regret
