So...one guy just wades, multiple times, through dozens or hundreds of heavily armed special forces, fbi swat teams, secret service armies and private security battalions. One guy, lol! Old lady gets scammed out of money and shoots herself, instead of contacting her fbi daughter. Wut? Said fbi daughter is one of the worst characters ever. Pathetic unfunny useless joke. Preezy's idiot son is just as bad, terrible actor and horrible character. Hollywood killed itself with its constant output of garbage like this.

Very convoluted plot, but most of these books are. Reacher can't help but stumble into the most insane situations on the regular. This one is even more convoluted than most. Desperate female, evil family situation, professional hit team, Very convenient helpful lawyer at exactly the right time, sins of the past coming home to roost, wild shootout in a biblical downpour and to top it off a finale involving reacher being a psychic to find a kidnapped child. Entertaining though, and much better than the more recent books.
