Plenty of fanservice, but if you aren’t a hardcore fan of Kirby, this game will probably not do much to make you one. There is plenty to do here, especially after all the free updates the game received, with some really solid post game content. Being “too easy” is a common criticism, and for me, a game can be easy as long as it’s engaging. Previous titles aren’t super challenging either, but the creative level design and ideas thrown at you are engaging enough that it’s not an issue. Star Allies lacks the more in-depth level designs and gimmicks, making it overall a weaker experience compared to games that came before and after. It’s a good game with a really nice presentation, and some really solid content, but aside from the spectacle of the final boss (which Kirby games always nail) and HUGE amounts of fanservice, there is nothing too standout
