I'm writing this review while still being on the high of what is watching the Madame Web movie. And while that may affect how I see the movie I don't think it will matter ultimately, because of 2 main reasons. Madame Web is the greatest movie of all time. Ok so maybe I lied, just one reason tehe. But with a reason like that there's no going back.
What I said is true, no matter the meanie reviews on Google :( Madame Web will go down as the greatest ever made, up there with morbius (my second favorite movie). But I know it's hard to believe with all the bad reviews right now, and while I admit I don't know why people are writing them, theirs a reason I sing this movies praises. It's like the modern day Bach of movies. It's greatness will only be accepted long after its time. Anyways enough with the hype, I will begin the real review now
The movie starts out in New York on September 11th, 2001, and while it's a little wierd the movie started with a second plane hitting the tower it made the payoff of Madame Web going back in time to stop it even better. Next we see micheal morbuis, who was so hot in this movie ;) he came from the future to tell Madame Web that an evil spider ma..... person is coming to kill her and her kids. In order to protect then morbius bites the kids and gives them powers. But then doesn't bite Madame Web cuz he said she was ugly (he wasn't wrong). The family goes on a wacky adventure to kill the strange man, with Madame Web committing multiple crimes along the way. The best part was the final fight scene were morbuis says his famous line "its morbin time " but then Madame Web interrupts and says "no its webbin time" and they defeat the villian. What a lovely conclusion to all the storyline, it's like one big "spiderweb" of stories ;)
Ok so my first complaint of this movie, that was sent down from God, casting Obama as the main villain felt like the wrong move, he just felt so monotone. But all other actors were great. Especially John Cena as Peter parker. The movie managed to be a good mix of comedy in action with out being to similar to that repetitive "mcu" humor. And when the movie was sad, it made sure u were sad too. I cried several times :( I can't talk good about this movie enough, it just flowed so well together. I highly recommend. Stay morbin friends :)
