One of Scorsese’s best - which is a lot to say - with some of the best actors doing some of their best work. Pacino, Pesci, and especially DeNiro - but also all of the supporting actors. I do also want to mention the excellent editing work - again, as usual - from Thelma Schoonmaker and her crew - wonderful cuts back and forth in time that enhance the overall story line tremendously. A true work of art. Personally, I did not even notice anything regarding the technical “de-aging” work done with the actors - maybe my old 73 year old eyes aren’t sensitive enough any more, but everything seemed natural to me.
