I have watched the show for many years, but recently was living in Europe and had to watch it on my laptop, via YouTube. The editing was terrible, with repetitions, bad camera angles and worst of all, cutting off the final few minutes, so that you couldn't see what the place looked like after they moved in. Was this due to the fact that it was sort of a pirated version? Also, I must agree with the other reviewers that Americans appear to be ignorant of what is considered normal overseas, for example, dryers and huge fridges are considered terrible energy wasters. A split bath, with separate toilet, makes good sense, so that other people can be bathing or brushing teeth in a separate area, if there is a big family but only one bathroom. I am really embarrassed by how gauche and provincial Americans seem, but no surprise, since American schools no longer teach geography or stress learning a foreign language. Cable TV seldom even offers a foreign channel!!!
