I thought the movie was filmed beautifully. Obviously the west has varied and magnificent landscape and some of it was stunningly filmed. As for the story it seemed to me there were four different storylines going on and Kevin Costner was only in one. The movie needed a central character to pull it all together. This was not a documentary where a narrator provides the continuity. It needed something to pull it all together and usually that is the main character. Also some of the significant scenes were in Apache language with no subtitles. So in the end I am looking forward to the next segment and hopefully smooth it out.
