I'm so sad because I had such high hopes for this novel after loving all the light we cannot see. This story was so disconnected that I really never got to care about any of the characters in any of the story lines. I muddled through this book and kept hoping it got better but I just never came together. Very unique story lines but completely disjointed...I don't get why some people love it?!?! I hope Doerr goes back to historical fiction because he is brilliant in that genre.
