Whoever was the technical advisor on this film surely didn’t know a damn thing about the navy or the military at all. The uniforms were a joke. A lieutenant commander does NOT wear scrambled eggs on his hat, that’s just one example. Next time you need a technical advisor give me a call, I’ll do it for nothing just so you don’t make a farce of our military.
