Michael Creane

I love Bond. I love Bourne (most of them). I do not like The Gray Man. An odd combination of good acting and atrocious writing. Two stars for the special effects and set pieces (decently choreographed fight scenes in gorgeous locations) and what seen like genuine efforts by the cast to rescue a bad script. Their efforts, sadly, failed. The act of filming and editing this $200m movie may have almost killed the Russo brothers (their words on the challenge of completing this film), but watching it shouldn't have been as unpleasant.
