This show was probably the least informative way to ingest scientific information about dinosaurs. It poses very theoretical concepts about the lifestyles and habits of dinosaurs for the sake of dramatism. There is little to no factual reasoning conveyed to back up why, for example, sauropod babies would choose to eat their mother's feces as a first meal, why pterosaurs would disguise themselves as females, or why ankylosaurs have innate desert mapping abilities, etc.
Any explanation as to why these characteristics may have existed is left out, leaving the viewer to guess whether these narratives are pure fact or loosely founded theory.
The only thing really going for this show is the fact that the dinosaurs look good and David Attenborough names particular genera.
