Compared to the “Ten Commandments”, a previous film starring Charlston Heston and Yul Brynner, the “Exodus” is a disappointment. It shows Moses as a less confident person and God as an angry child, prone to temper. Even the Ten Commandments were hand inscribed by Moses on tablets with God child serving tea to Moses. The plagues were a result of natural happening, one leading to another. I rate this as 30%.

I enjoyed the short series which has most actions not those spun into 16-30 episodes showing many recalls. The actor portraying Gi Hun and the others show what the real world is like, when you are down and out. Nobody will help you and you need to fend for your self. In the series, the real world is shown - dog-eat-dog, people stepping over each other. They tried to quit and return to the real world: but found the simulated environment they were playing in was no different from the real world.So they prefer to be given a chance; although failure means the end of their suffering ? I find the drama depicts the harsh reality of the world; at least you are given a fair chance to play the game and advance. It’s really enjoyable; a play for adults! All the players acted well. We sympathize with them too. No sequelsjor prequels please. Leave the dramas it is!
